Use Sulfate-free shampoo, moisturizing conditioners, and masks that are lightweight.

Make sure all products are thoroughly rinsed

Do not overload with styling product

Shampooing in a downward motion is recommended to avoid tangles

Allowing the hair to air dry is best

Do not go to bed with wet hair as this will cause matting

Brush your hair using a tangle teaser, paddle brush, or my favorite extension brush by Sheila Stotts

Brush from the ends up, in small sections working to the crown

Low heat is recommended while blowdrying

Always use a heat protectant when using hot tools

Introduction of salt water and hard water and/or chlorinated water to hair may cause damaging effects, and decrease the overall lifespan

Sunscreen and artificial tanning products should never come in direct contact with the hair

Mineral sunscreens are best to use that DO NOT contain avobenzone
